This authentic handcrafted round-log pine cabin appeals to couples; men admire the craftsmanship and ruggedness, and women love the charm of the cabin's comfort and amenities. The cabin presents a perfect place to connect with each other and leave the outside world behind.


A very distinct focal point is the native limestone wood burning  fireplace. The walnut mantel is hand hewn from a storm-fallen walnut tree. Set a romantic mood by lighting the fire on a chilly evening with the one you love, while soaking in the luxurious whirlpool.

Later, slip on a thick terry cloth bathrobe and relax in the fireside rocking chairs. The queen size cedar log bed, also near the fireplace, is adorned appropriately with a quilt and abundance of pillows.

A kitchenette is equipped with a coffee maker, coffee, refrigerator, and microwave. Plus, a dining area is furnished with a step-back cabinet (containing dishes and tableware), and a country style table with bent-wood chairs.


"Cabin Life" is decorated to make you feel comfy cozy and pampered.

The "breakfast fairy" delivers only to the "Cabin Life", fresh each morning to your door, items such as strudels, baked french toast, and home made muffins. Enjoy breakfast while listening to Mother Nature and the clip clop of horse drawn Amish buggies inside, or on your spacious front porch.

A gas grill is provided for year-round grilling at the brick patio.

"Back Again" Guest House ---

Is a historic 1870's two story colonial style log cabin with a stone addition. This cabin was recently relocated by the owners to its current site. The stones for the addition were obtained from a nearby 1800's foundation.

This unique house offers many amenities, and is perfect for an extended stay. It is ideal for a couple on a honeymoon, or a much needed getaway. It can also accomodate up to 4 people vacationing together, whether it be a girl's retreat or a 2-couple excursion.

The 1100 square foot guest house has a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, cooking utensils, and tableware, allowing you the flexibility to prepare your own meals when desired. Walnut Ridge does not provide a prepared breakfast for the "Back Again" guests. However, breakfast "starters" will be stocked in the refrigerator and cabinet. Breakfast items such as eggs, english muffins, bagels, granola bars, yogurts, oatmeal packages, and coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. If you would like the "breakfast fairy" to deliver breakfast (an additional cost will apply), please notify us at the time of making the reservation.






The rock sun room, a favorite area to relax, has a gas fireplace, 2-person whirlpool with a waterfall feature, and bistro table and chairs. An old world charm emanates from the logs, time worn stone, and 24 foot hewn walnut beam extending the full length of the room above the large embankment of windows.

The double-side gas fireplace is also enjoyed in the sitting area. The furnishings throughout the cabin all say "Welcome, come sit and relax." There are many areas to enjoy and kick back.




The second floor bathroom has a 48 inch shower and two sinks, one a full vanity, and the other a pedestal sink. A charming half bathroom is located on the main floor.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, two night stands, and a separate reading/sitting area. The second bedroom has a full size bed adorned with a log cabin quilt. Sleeping upstairs in this cabin transports you to a more comforting simpler time.

Another unique feature of the cabin is the inside view of the roof-top cupola. Lit at dusk, it is a soft beacon, welcoming all to Come Again - to slow down and enjoy life.
